Healthe Leader Discusses Talent Troubles in Workers’ Comp

The workers’ comp industry is facing an impending talent shortage, and as the Great Resignation takes a new and continued form as the Great Reshuffle, that problem has grown worse. It continues to be a concern for the future of claims management, a concern that Stephanie Arkelian, Healthe’s Senior Director, Product Management is discussing within the industry.

Risk & Insurance magazine recently featured an article on the four trends workers’ comp payers and providers should keep on their radar, and among them was the Great Resignation. Arkelian was featured in this article for her thoughts on retaining talent, where she speaks of the need to utilize of easy-to-use technology and automation to reduce claim staff burden.

Continuing this conversation, Arkelian will join a panel presentation at the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation’s Annual Educational Conference in Atlanta titled Workforce Talent Troubles? You’re Not Alone!

This presentation will focus on attracting, retaining, and developing a talented workforce. The discussion will explore strategies to leverage recruiting, training, compensation, and technology to uncover hidden opportunities in today's challenging staffing environment.

The presentation will take place August 29th at 3:30 PM in ballrooms 3 & 4.
