The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) has issued a data call, Commissioner’s Bulletin # B-0016-25, to all insurance companies licensed to write certain property and casualty lines in the state.
The call focuses on annual experience and workers’ comp deductible plans for the period of January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025. Carriers licensed in Texas to write most lines of coverage, including workers’ compensation, are required to comply. The collected information will support TDI’s annual report to the governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the House, the Legislature, and the public, which is due by March 31, 2026.
Respondents must use TDI’s fillable PDF Data Call Form, available on TDI’s website. Submissions are due by the close of business on February 6, 2026, and carriers must retain all supporting data and source documents until at least February 6, 2027.
