The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division (WCD) is accepting public comments on its current medical fee schedule and medical services rules, including:

• OAR 436-009: Medical Fee and Payment Rules
• OAR 436-010: Medical Services
• OAR 436-015: Managed Care Organizations

Oregon’s review of medical rules may impact reimbursement logic, billing codes, and medical services. Early engagement in the rulemaking process allows stakeholders to proactively advocate and plan system updates.

Topics for review must be submitted by September 30th to allow WCD time for evaluation. Topics must be submitted via Form 5141: Possible Rule Issue Form to wcd.policy@dcbs.oregon.gov.

Submitted topics will be discussed during the Rulemaking Advisory Committee meeting, tentatively scheduled for November 18th. Stakeholders interested in attending virtually are directed to email marie.a.rogers@dcbs.oregon.gov to receive connection information.
