Back to Regulatory Recap
The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation (DoWC) will hold its annual stakeholder meeting on Thursday, May 22nd, from 4–5 p.m. MST.
A key topic on the agenda is the potential removal of reimbursement for Qualified Spanish interpreters due to the increased availability of Certified Spanish interpreters. Insurers would still be required to document a good faith effort when using a Qualified Interpreter instead of a Certified one.
This meeting will also cover potential updates to Rule 18: Medical Fee Schedule. Unlike previous years where three meetings were held, this year there will be only one, and registration is required.
