The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published the 2026 Q2 updates to the NCCI edit files, effective April 1, 2026, replacing the 2026 Q1 versions.

Changes were made to the Medically Unlikely Edits (MUEs) for Practitioner Services, DME Supplier Services and Outpatient Hospital Services including addition, deletion, and revision files. Updates were also made to the Practitioner and Hospital Procedure-To-Procedure (PTP) Edits as well as the Add-On Code files.
