The Industrial Commission of Arizona (ICA) Medical Resource Office is hosting a stakeholder meeting on June 12th at 10:00 AM MST to discuss prescription topical medications.

Although no formal amendment has been proposed, the meeting aims to gather stakeholder input and explore current trends, challenges, and potential solutions related to these drugs. While future regulatory action is uncertain, the ICA is initiating this discussion to better understand stakeholders’ perspectives and emerging issues.

Interested stakeholders may attend in person at the ICA Building or join virtually.

Healthesystems representatives will participate in this meeting to provide insights and advocate for clarity around Arizona’s fee schedule and the use of topical medications. Such early engagement helps to shape policies that promote clinically appropriate use, supports cost containment, and ensures operational feasibility.
