November proved to be a big month for Healthesystems’ thought leaders, as two Healthe leaders were featured in WorkCompWire’s Leaders Speak series, and another delivered an educational presentation at National Comp 2025.
Daryl Corr: Reimagining Managed Care for the Next Generation
Healthesystems CEO, Daryl Corr was featured in WorkCompWire’s Leaders Speak series, discussing how advanced technologies such as AI and automation must be layered effectively into existing workflows to create truly transformative change, or they could risk compounding complexity instead of solving it.
“The real opportunity lies in strategic enablement: helping payers evolve their cost containment programs, expand their claim management capabilities, and proactively address challenges before they escalate. Todd Pisciotti: Practical Innovation That Endures
Todd Pisciotti, SVP Sales & Marketing, was also featured in WorkCompWire’s Leaders Speak series, discussing how true innovation is only effective when it meets users where they are, and that the most effective partners don’t just deliver technology, they deliver experiences.
“The day-to-day for claims teams is demanding. In this environment, adoption of new solutions doesn’t happen by accident – it happens by design. The best managed care partners understand that innovation is essential, and that it must be thoughtfully integrated alongside the core services they have traditionally delivered to the industry.”

Silvia Sacalis: A Conversation on Managing Comorbidities
Earlier this month, Silvia Sacalis, PharmD, BS, VP of Clinical Services, participated in the educational session Untangling Complex Cases: A Roadmap for Comorbidity Management, with Dr. Mark Williams, Medical Director at The Hartford.
The session focused on the practical management of comorbidities, covering a range of comorbidities including cardiovascular conditions, mental health conditions, substance use (tobacco and alcohol), obesity, and diabetes. Attendees gained insights into the complexities of medical and pharmacy management in these cases, including a focus on drug-drug and drug-disease interactions that must be considered to ensure effective and safe treatment plans.
