ON STAGE: Attend Our Educational Session
Healthe’s VP of Clinical Services, Silvia Sacalis, PharmD, BS, will cohost the educational presentation Untangling Complex Cases: A Roadmap for Comorbidity Management, with Dr. Mark Williams, Medical Director at The Hartford.
This session will delve into the practical considerations for managing injured workers with comorbidities. The discussion will cover a range of comorbidities including cardiovascular conditions, mental health conditions, substance use (tobacco and alcohol), obesity, and diabetes. Attendees will gain insights into the complexities of medical and pharmacy management in these cases, including a focus on drug-drug and drug-disease interactions that must be considered to ensure effective and safe treatment plans.
The presentation will take place on November 11th at 3:30 PM CT as part of the Recovery Track, in Meeting Room #4.
